Reiki is a Japanese word that means 'universal life force energy' and refers to the energy that flows through all living things in order to sustain life itself. There is an abundant supply of this energy all around us.
The Usui System of Natural Healing known as Reiki, is a form of healing and spiritual awakening, received and developed 100 years ago by a Japanese man, Mikao Usui, and brought to the West via Hawaii in 1937. It is passed on from one person to another through specific initiation rites,
teachings and defined forms of practice.
The Usui System is a way of working with reiki for healing of self and others.
The word healing is used in the sense of regaining harmony and
wholeness and Usui Shiki Ryoho addresses the whole person,
physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
I believe there exists one supreme being The Absolute.

It is an unseen spiritual power that vibrates and all other powers fade into insignificance beside it. So therefore it is Absolute!...

Reiki First Degree
The level One Reiki training course provides you with a knowledge of Reiki and the history of Reiki.The principles of Reiki and how it can be used to help you and others in your everyday life.
You will receive four attunements to the Reiki energy and be equipped to carry out a Reiki treatment on both yourself, and friends and family.
Course Content
An introduction to Reiki

The attunements to Usui Reiki.
Learn the hand positions for Reiki healing.
Learn the hand positions for healing yourself

You will be provided with a Reiki training manual to help and guide you.
It is recommended you leave a gap of at least three months or more between the First and the Second level ideally working with the energy until you know you are ready to take the next step. This is to enable you to develop your skills and knowledge and also gain some additional experience before moving on to the more powerful healing experiences that you will encounter
at this Reiki Second Degree.

Reiki Second Degree
The Level 2 introduces the Reiki Symbols and Distant Healing. This level is about emotional and mental healing. The Second Reiki Attunement deepens your connection to the universal source and strengthens your ability to channel the energy naturally. You can use this to do your own healing work

Cleansing and Creating a Sacred Space
There are no examinations to pass in Reiki, but to maintain high standards it is necessary to complete some additional work after the course in order to receive your certificate.
It is recommended you leave a gap of at least six months or more between the Second and the Master Practitioner level, ideally working with the energy until you know you are ready to take the next step. This is to enable you to develop your skills and knowledge and also gain some additional experience before moving on to the more powerful healing experiences that you will encounter at this Reiki Third Degree.
Reiki Third Degree Master Practitioner
At this level you receive the powerful master attunement that lifts the system energetically to even greater heights and inner depths. This course introduces the master symbol and shows you how to use it for healing and transformation. You learn many techniques on using the knowledge to help others but primarily this level focuses on self-mastery. Practise at Second Degree level helps to prepare you for Master Practitioner. The master level energy has a tendency to bring up repressed issues that still need dealing with so it is helpful to get as much practise as you can before taking Master Practitioner.

Reiki Master Teacher
The Reiki Master Teacher degree is for those who wish to teach and attune others through the three Reiki levels.
The practical side of teaching, plus the mentoring process initiates a learning curve which usually takes about 9 to 12 months.
